Jesuit Mission, and in particular the North Sydney parish group, Leprosy Fellowship, support the work of Fr Luis Ruiz SJ in his work with leprosy and HIV/Aids sufferers in China. Fr Ruiz is now over 90 years of age, but still takes care of thousands of lepers in over 100 leprosariums in China. He is assisted by the Sisters of Charity of St Anne, and his many friends in Australia and the world who he keeps updated with stories from his work.
