Movie Night

Please join us on Wednesday 22nd May 2019 for the screening of a beautiful documentary.  Enjoy the film and stay for the Q and A.
"The Staging Post" follows the lives of two Afghan Hazara refugees stranded in Indonesia. Facing many years in limbo, they built a community and started a school which inspired a refugee education revolution. This uplifting documentary illustrates the power of friendship and connection. The movie is suitable for adults and teens, with all proceeds from the event being shared between Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Australia and Jesuit Mission. JRS Australia works with refugees and people seeking asylum in our community. Jesuit Mission supports projects in Indonesia that assists refugees like those portrayed in this film. This is an opportunity not only to see this truly inspirational film, but also to support the wonderful work of these two Jesuit organisations.
